Significant Decrease of Clinical Symptoms after Mobile Phone Base Station Removal –An Intervention Study

Summary of Research Paper:

The researchers investigated possible adverse effects on the health of condominium inhabitants who were exposed from 1998 to 2009 to the radiation from mobile phone base station antennas installed on top of their condominium. The health of these inhabitants was shown to improve after the removal of the antennas. The study found that tinnitus, joint pain/shoulder stiffness, fatigue/loss of motivation, various sleep disturbances, eye pain, dizziness, jitteriness, numbness and nasal bleeding clearly improved or resolved following removal of the base station, while visual refractive issues (astigmatism, deteriorated eyesight) and tachycardia/palpitations decreased but did not show a statistically significant decline. The researchers could identify no other factors that could explain this health improvement other than removal of the antennas.
